Potatoes noodles - Polish Traditional Meal

To do our dish we need:

  • potatoes - 1kg
  • flour 1/3kg
  • allspice
  • bay leaf
  • bacon - 15 dag
  • one egg
  • sour cabbage - 0,5kg
  • butter - 1/4 of cube
  • 3 carrots
  • salt and pepper
First you must peel all the potatoes. Then gate them and add flour. Add it untill mass gets thickened. Then mix it with egg and add some salt. Ready-made mass put on a plate sprinkled with flour. To prevent the mass blacken you also have to sprinkle it with flour. Now add little pieces of mass to boiling water. Don't forget to stril it while cooking. When the noodles are ready strain and rinse it with cold water.

Peel carrots, cook them in salted water then cut into cubes. Melt the butter in the pan. Add carrot put some sugar and fluor to taste.

Wash sour cabbage, add allspice and bay leaf, now cook it all.

Cut becon into small cubes and fry.

Put noodles on a plate, serve them with:
  • sour cabbage
  • bacon
  • carrots
